Tasmania Nightscape Adventure Tour
At the end of May 2024 Nightscape Images will be conducting an adventure tour to the magnificent east coast of Tasmania. Starting in Hobart and ending in Launceston we'll be touring through some of the most magnificent scenery and locations you can imagine.
As you know my passion is nightscape photography ... but our adventure will also encompass daytime shooting as we tour the brilliant countryside together before settling into our wonderful and spacious lodgings each night, always with gorgeous views close at hand.
This adventure tour is limited to 3 participants so my time will be all yours for the duration of our stay. I'll be your personal instructor and mentor. Each participant will have their own spacious room with amazing facilities on hand.
We'll be staying at two quality hotels in Swansea and St Helen's which will become our home bases for the duration of our adventure. This gives us plenty of options to travel and enjoy the sights of the region without having to pack our cases every night.

As you can see from these photos there is so much variety in the Tasmanian countryside including mountains, lakes, sweeping vistas and of course some amazing rocky seascapes to shoot under the light of the milky way. These locations are generally very dark which ensures some beautiful nightscape opportunities.

Adventure Tour Schedule:
Day 1: Pick up Hobart airport Monday May 27th Travel through historic Richmond & Orford. Waterloo Hotel Swansea next 2 nights.
Day 2: Explore the Freycinet Peninsula, Coles Bay & Cape Tourville Lighthouse.
Day 3: Travel up the coast to St Helen's. Scenic views along the way. Arrive at Panorama Hotel for next 3 nights.
Day 4: Explore the Bay of Fires region including Binalong Bay & The Gardens.
Day 5: Inland expedition to explore waterfalls and forests. More milky way shooting that night.
Day 6: Leave St Helen's and travel to Launceston airport for departure.
